Being awarded the P&IQ Scholarship has fundamentally affected my professional development. I stumbled upon it some time ago on my LinkedIn feed, already working within the maritime industry but in a different sector.
This program acted as an incentive for me to enter the insurance and claims sector, a decision which has been very fruitful for my professional career. It is a well respected qualification which materially bridges professional experience with in depth academic understanding. What's special about it for me is that I am able to directly apply knowledge obtained from it to my day-to-day work.
The exams are very convenient as you can sit for them from home and after working hours. I consider them to be quite challenging, but it only goes to show the high caliber of the qualification.
I would definitely encourage anyone working in or wishing to enter the insurance and claims sector of the maritime industry to pursue this scholarship.
