This document provides a factual report on the surveys and inspections currently undertaken by the relevant parties (class, port state control, insurance and cargo interests) in order to facilitate the Assembly's consideration of establishing an informal working group on ships' standards.
In June 2024, the Group hosted a Correspondents Seminar at the Renaissance Harbour View hotel and the Artyzen Club in Hong Kong. Attendees included representatives from all 12 IG Clubs and more than 250 correspondents from across the world.
